Boasting a live show described as "hard to watch standing still,” ¡MAYDAY! continues to take the foundations from Hip-Hop / Rock and Electronic music and use them as a passport to cross into funk and beyond. Shortly after their rise on the scene in 2006, URB magazine placed ¡MAYDAY! in their next 20 artists to watch and MTV chose them as one of 2006 Freshmen Five artists. After premiering their video for "Groundhog Day" feat. Cee-Lo & DJ Craze on Youtube, the video achieved a site record breaking 2 million plus views in less than two days. Media giants such as the New York Times, ABC World News Tonight, and Inside Edition, were the first among many to cover this breakout story. Then in 2007 "Groundhog Day" was featured on HBO's hit series Entourage, and another ¡MAYDAY! song "Watching Me,” was featured on NBA Street Homecourt 2007. Since then, they have been on the road touring the US, performing with a diverse spectrum of artists from Daft Punk to The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus to Method Man and Redman winning over audiences wherever they play.
